Hey
I need some advice about MMO games.
If you think that you could help, please click read more button
Well, I feel like playing some MMO again, after huge break.
I could play like 1-3h daily, and I am player who is interesed like 90% in PVP aspects of game, basically I used to hate boring grinding. Played World of Warcraft until 70 level then sold that char, now I see this new expansion - Cataclysm comming out, is World of Warcraft worth comming back to now?
After WoW I had little adventure with Warhammer Online, enjoyed this gloomy atmosphere in the game and of course whole pvp concept where I could make most of levels by killing other people.
Lague of Legends rings a bell, about beeing PVP MMO, but not sure.
Anyone could suggest me some MMO? I haven't heard anything about like 95% of mmo games which came out in past 2 years, and wanted to start playing in next days so I hope someone could recommend me good one.
Thanks in advance;)
My opinion: WoW is the most populated = easier to find people to kill e.g. queuing for battlegrounds etc. But you would need an 80+ to currently enjoy endgame pvp or you could make a twink?
ReplyDeleteI played WoW until lvl 70 aswell and all I did was PvP, then sold my cash/account. Cataclysm should be good.
ReplyDeleteRuneScape is the MMO that I've played, but it's like crack, so avoid it
ReplyDeleteMinecraft. Not really an MMO but you put the same amount of time into it :P
ReplyDeleteI play the Lord of the Rings online... I like it, and I'm a casual gamer, so it works for me
ReplyDeleteYou should try out City of Heroes
ReplyDeleteNo. 007 ;D
ReplyDeleteI like to play Lord of the Rings online
ReplyDeleteyou should try out League of Legends , its free to play and very addicting and since its DoTa is nothing but pvp, but unlike an mmo you don't have a toon or real story line or anything , but its great if you don't have time for that stuff anyway.
ReplyDeleteI can't play WoW I've tried, Vindictus was ok, Perfect World sucks. I right now am playing a game called Cabal online. I like it.
ReplyDeleteWoW is the best mmo out right now...personally I'm waiting for the new star wars mmo
ReplyDeletetry RAGNAROK ONLINE!! ITS ADDICTING FUCK ive played for like 6years of mylife... now i dont coz i get too addicted
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you kids and your WoW...
ReplyDeleteAge of Conan is picking up again with an expansion and alot of bugfixes.
ReplyDeleteminecraft is the real deal
ReplyDeleteMINECRAFT,MINECRAFT FTW
ReplyDeleteI used to play ffxi, but then it started to suck :/
ReplyDeleteDont play wow, it's very addictive
ReplyDeleteLord of the Rings online is fun

ReplyDeleteworld of warcraft duh
ReplyDeletei hear WoW or GW2 are good
ReplyDeleteoops GW1 sorry, GW2 will be epic when it comes out!
ReplyDeleteIf you can only play 1-3 hours, wow won't really be rewarding for you. It requires a ridiculous amount of time investment. They are claiming to be fixing this, however....
ReplyDeleteAvoid, WoW! I've lost many good friends to that drug of a game!
ReplyDeleteWhy are people suggesting Minecraft, its not really based on PVP is it?
ReplyDeleteDone a little research, and with your video card World of Warcraft should be playable, however i do not know how many fps you'll have..Try with a trial account so you don't spend too much :D
ReplyDeleteAs long as you don't get addicted easily.
ReplyDeleteGo for it.
MMO's are a major time suck for me. :D
ReplyDeleteEve online
ReplyDeleteGet Minecraft, make a 16bit ALU computer in it.
ReplyDeletetibia is a good game, had me addicted for a solid 2 years
ReplyDeleteThey're all going downhill
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've heard and seen, Cataclysm is worth going back for. I'm thinking of doing that myself.
ReplyDeleteWoW ftw. It's annoyingly addictive but good fun.
ReplyDeleteI just started ffxiv. I am lost in that Eorzea.
ReplyDeleteEve online. Srsly. It's so awesome. Best part is, it's a game which seems to require more patience, and general intelligence than others, so you don't get the whiny kids on it. Although you seem to prefer fantasy MMO's-If you life Sci-fi and shit, go Eve. It's a bit slow but well worth it. Tell me if you got, I'll add you, I'm new into it myself bro.
ReplyDeletewhen will we see post 009?
ReplyDeleteI heard Aion or Perfect world were pretty okay.
ReplyDeleteMy advice concerning MMO's is simple, don't play them. The good ones are money drainers and really time consuming and the free ones tend to be really shitty. I've played few in my time but the best free one I've played was Requiem, but beware, it's a grind fest!
ReplyDeleteAion is really focused on PvP, but I've never played it, so I really couldn't tell you too much about it. I'd look into it, tho.
ReplyDeleteFrom my experience with WoW, you need to find a good battle group. I.e., research servers and battlegroups before you decide to invest.
I've been in the Cataclysm Beta for a while now, and honestly, it seems to fix a lot of the problems I felt WoW had. It is still gonna be a grind fest, but it'll be a new experience, since ya know, Azeroth has been torn asunder, and they used that excuse to redesign almost everywhere.
